WHY APOGÉE DE TAJ?

The brand name was inspired from the English word “Apogee” which means the farthest or highest point of the development of something; a climax or culmination. Its other definition is the point in the orbit of an object orbiting the earth that is at the greatest distance from the center of the earth and is also the point farthest from a planet or a satellite reached by an object orbiting it (Merriam Webster). Its synonyms include prime, peak, pinnacle, zenith, crown, etc. 

The name “Taj” is derived from the founder’s surname “Tajanlangit” which also translates to “crown” in other languages accompanied by the French preposition “de” which means “of”.

Apogée de Taj, altogether, is interpreted as a brand that aims to reach the highest point of fashion— a culmination of pieces made for every individual across different cultures and styles as an expression of personality, taste, and character by our founder and designer: Sofia Adrienne Tajanlangit (pronounced: Tahanlangit).
